Nimmie Amee

Nimmie Amee is a Toronto-based experimental musician working in patient, incidental noise and dynamic sound collage. Drawing on field recordings, slow-swelling drone and carefully plotted melodic fragments, the project builds hushed, unsettled soundscapes closer to tape-collage and quiet noise than conventional song form. Releases include Smeared Moon, Spy in the House of Love, Three-Fall Dam, Opaline Scale, Sacred Filth and Notation Knives, alongside the 2024 album A Season in Hell. Nimmie Amee is an active presence in Toronto's experimental and noise scene, performing alongside artists such as Death Kneel and the Triptych trio of Colin Cudmore, Kristina Guison and Colby Richardson.
