Nicolas Montgermont

A Paris-based sound artist and educator, Montgermont has used electromagnetic and acoustic waves as primary materials since 2004, exploring their physical and poetic dimensions through installation, performance, and antenna sculpture. Since 2008 he has taught sound and multimedia creation at ENS Louis-Lumière. In 2007 he co-founded the duo Art of Failure with Nicolas Maigret; their Resonant Architectures project used infrasound to reveal the hidden musicality of buildings, touring France, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, and Canada between 2009 and 2013.
