Nicolas Debade

Composer, researcher, and sound designer based in Marseille, Debade has been a member of the INA GRM since 2019, where he oversees the valorisation of its scientific output and coordinates teaching activities. He holds a doctorate in sociology and art sciences with research focused on diffusion of practices in experimental music worlds. His 2026 album Fragments of Soaring Vessels on elli_records draws on field recordings from the Calanques of Marseille, modular synthesisers, theremin, and piano.
