Nick León
Born in Oakland to Colombian parents and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Nick León is a Miami-based producer who came up making beats in the mid-2000s reggaeton explosion before training in audio engineering and interning at a Miami studio. His music fuses club rhythm with the humid textures of South Florida's ecosystem, moving fluidly between dembow, techno, hip-hop, and buried, dubbed-out melody. His Bebé EP and Aguacero, released on Mexico's NAAFI, established him within a wider Latin club diaspora, and he holds a production credit on Rosalía's MOTOMAMI. He continues producing for South Florida rap artists while touring internationally as a DJ.
