Nick Klein

Born in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1987, now based in Berlin. He works across industrial rhythms, acidic electronics, and ambient sound, releasing music on labels including L.I.E.S., Viewlexx, Ascetic House, and Alter. Since 2013 he has run the label PL—variously glossed as Primitive Languages, Psychic Liberation, or Potentially Listenable—through which he has built a sprawling catalogue of recordings for tape, vinyl, and digital formats. His practice extends beyond recorded music to installation and participatory art contexts.
