Nick Hoffman

Nick Hoffman is an American musician, label operator, and sound artist based in Chicago. He runs the Pilgrim Talk label, which has released a significant body of work in American experimental and free improvisation since the 2000s. As a musician he works in noise, drone, and free improvisation, often using self-constructed or found instruments and electronics. He has collaborated with many figures in the American experimental underground and his label has been a consistent platform for unconventional, difficult music that occupies spaces between noise, improvisation, and composition.
