Neo Hülcker

German composer and performer whose work treats music as anthropological research in everyday life. They studied composition at Musikhochschule Lübeck and at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Their compositions unfold as situations, actions, and performance-installations engaging with ASMR, queer practice, human-animal relations, and cultural hacking. Works have been presented at Wien Modern, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, Darmstadt International Summer Courses, and the London Contemporary Music Festival. They are a member of the Y-E-S collective.
