Nadine Byrne

Nadine Byrne is a Swedish artist born in 1985 in Stockholm. Her practice moves between textile, sculpture, video, sound and performance, often drawing on occult imagery, ritual, folklore, medieval iconography and esoteric traditions as visual and conceptual source material. Her work treats these traditions not as exotic reference points but as living systems of knowledge and symbolism with which contemporary practice can engage on its own terms.

She has directed music videos for Anna von Hausswolff and collaborated extensively on visual material for Scandinavian experimental and heavy music.
