Mudboy

Mudboy is the solo project of Tim Hill, an American musician based in Providence, Rhode Island. Emerging from the Fort Thunder scene — the legendary communal art space and DIY venue that defined Providence's experimental underground from the late 1990s until its demolition in 2001 — and from the city's related noise and experimental community that remained active in the years following, his work uses organs, harmoniums, tape loops, voice and simple electronics to create hallucinatory, slow-burning recordings that sit between drone, lo-fi psychedelia and ritual folk.
