Mondo Gascaro
Born in Jakarta in 1975 to a Japanese-Indonesian family, he is a musician, singer-songwriter, music director, and producer whose work spans jazz, electronic music, and film scoring. He co-founded the group Sore in 2001, whose debut album Centralismo appeared on Time Asia's list of five Asian albums worth buying. After leaving Sore in 2012 he founded the label Ivy League Music and developed a solo practice and film composition career. His score for the 2018 Indonesian film Memories of My Body earned him Best Original Score at the 2019 Indonesian Film Festival.
