Mohammad Adam

Mohammad Adam is a producer working out of Leicester, England, whose surreal, sub-heavy productions draw together the sampling sensibilities of UK grime and garage with traditional South Asian music. Recording under the banner of his collective, Mohammad Five, he has released a steady stream of tracks and albums, among them Mujahideen, United We Stand Divided We Fall, and 2023's star players, favouring organic, disco- and jazz-inflected textures over conventional club tropes. His music has been championed by BBC Asian Network and performed at London's Cafe OTO, the long-running experimental and improvised-music venue.
