Milos Vojtechovsky

Born in Prague in 1955, he is a Czech sound artist, curator, and educator active in independent music, visual art, and media culture since the early 1980s. He founded the Center for Metamedia at Plasy Monastery in 1991, running an international multidisciplinary residency programme there until 1999. He curated contemporary and media art at the National Gallery in Prague from 1997 to 2000, and in 2009 co-initiated the ongoing Sounds of Prague project with Peter Cusack, dedicated to the psychogeography and soundscapes of the city. He teaches media art history at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
