Michał Libera

Michał Libera (born 1979, Warsaw) is a Polish sociologist, curator, and composer. Holding a PhD in sociology, he treats its methods and questions as the foundation of all his curatorial and compositional work. He is Music Curator at Ujazdów Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw and co-organiser of the Sanatorium of Sound festival in Sokołowsko. He has curated for Donaueschingen, Huddersfield, and Zachęta, co-produced reissues of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio archive on Bôłt Records, and authored musical adaptations of Thomas Bernhard, Witold Gombrowicz, and Italo Calvino.
