Marianne Teixido

Marianne Teixidó is a live coder, media artist, musician, and transhackfeminist based in Mexico City. Working with TidalCycles and related tools, she creates audiovisual performances that operate at the intersection of code, sound, and feminist technology politics. She has been among the most committed figures in spreading live coding practice in Mexico — when she began, there were almost no workshops and the few practitioners were reluctant to teach; it was through contact with Colombian live coder Alexandra Cárdenas that she first began making sound with code.
