Maria W Horn

Maria W Horn is a Swedish composer and musician based in Stockholm. Working with pipe organ, synthesiser, and electronics, she develops compositions rooted in drone, sustained tone, and microtonal tuning — exploring the overlap between sacred acoustic instrument traditions and contemporary electronic sound. She has released on Ideal Recordings and performed internationally, and is a central figure in the current Swedish experimental music scene that engages with acoustic instrument modification, extended duration, and spectral listening. Her solo and collaborative work consistently attends to the resonant and spiritual dimensions of sustained sound.
