Maria Papadomanolaki
Greek sound practitioner and researcher based in London, Maria Papadomanolaki studied linguistics at the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki before completing a PhD in Sonic Perceptual Ecologies at CRISAP, London College of Communication. Her work spans sound installation, networked performance, transmission art, and sound design for dance and film, with an ongoing focus on listening, environment, and placemaking. She is co-founder of the artist collective SoundCamp and a member of the Shortwave Collective. She serves as Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Digital Music and Sound Arts at the University of Brighton.
