Magnus Andreas Hagen Olsen

Magnus Andreas Hagen Olsen is a Norwegian artist based between Oslo and Vienna, studying at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. His practice moves across video, text and installation to examine how language and information circulate through institutional structures, probing power, discourse, representation and identity politics. His video work RAT TAR (2019) was shown at K4 Galleri, Oslo, addressing how standardized presentation formats shape the relation between artist, artwork and viewer. Olsen is co-founder and curator of UNKNOW, an online platform for interdisciplinary exchange between young artists, guest curators and academics across digital culture, philosophy and media.
