Lucia Farinati
Based in London, she is an independent researcher and curator whose PhD from Kingston University examined the Audio Arts magazine, a pioneering artist's audio publication. She directs Sound Threshold, an interdisciplinary project exploring the relationships between site, sound and text, and co-authored The Force of Listening with Claudia Firth, published by Errant Bodies Press in 2017. Her research connects feminist theory and consciousness-raising practice with the politics and ethics of listening, and she has developed projects around the feminist art historian Carla Lonzi's text Autoritratto.
