Luc Meier

Born in Vevey, Switzerland in 1981, he studied international relations in Geneva before spending over a decade in Japan and the United States promoting Swiss experimental music and sound culture. He wrote on noise and improvisation for the Geneva newspaper Le Courrier and organised concerts of Swiss experimental musicians in Japan for Pro Helvetia. He later coordinated the ArtLab program at EPFL in Lausanne and became director of the La Becque artist residency, which opened in 2018 at the foot of the Swiss Alps.
