Lorenzo Senni
Lorenzo Senni (born 1983) is an Italian electronic musician and artist based in Milan, known for developing what he calls "pointillistic trance" — a practice that strips trance music to its structural essence, retaining only the build, the anticipatory tension, and the avoided drop. This systematic deconstruction of a mass-market form into a conceptual tool has been developed through releases on Warp Records including Superimpositions (2016) and Scacco Matto (2019). He has also curated the Presto?! label, championing Italian experimental electronic music. His work occupies a productive space between irony and genuine engagement with the emotional mechanics of euphoric dance music.
