La Polla Records

La Polla Records was a Spanish punk rock band formed in 1979 in Salvatierra/Agurain, Álava, in the Basque Country. Founded by singer Evaristo Páramos, they were among the first punk bands in Spain to sing in Spanish, releasing their debut EP ¿Y ahora qué? in 1983 on the Oihuka label. Their blunt social and political lyrics, confrontational live performances, and roots in the Basque underground scene of the 1980s made them a defining group in Spanish punk culture. The band split in 2003; singer Evaristo continued with Gatillazo.
