krube.

Krube. is the solo project of Berlin-based composer Alexander Schneider, active under this name since the late 1990s. His work has been described as a crude, crippled strain of 21st-century musique concrète, combining the raw, dirty character of noise-based tape and concrete music with a sensitivity to modern compositional technique.

Schneider's debut solo cassette, Vom Unerträglichen, appeared on Fragment Factory in 2011, following 2010's Ansätze zum Taumel on Raionbashi. Further releases include Für Nichts und wieder Nichts (2012), Vaacta on Torba (2014) and the cassette Krube. (2015). In 2016 Fragment Factory paired his music with Arv & Miljö on a split release, Arv & Miljö / Krube.
