Koen Nutters

Born in The Hague in 1976, he is an upright bass player, composer, writer, and curator who lives between Amsterdam and Berlin. His practice combines text-scores, structured improvisation, and conceptual operations, maintaining close ties to the Wandelweiser composers group and the Berlin reductionist scene. He is a founding member of the N-Collective, ensemble Konzert Minimal, and the concert series DNK Amsterdam, and performs in groups including The Pitch, DNK Ensemble, and Post-Music. Collaborators include Antoine Beuger, Michael Pisaro, Radu Malfatti, Axel Dörner, and Taku Sugimoto.
