Knoott

Born in Moscow in 1987, she grew up between theatre, performance, and DIY fashion before relocating to Israel, where she is now based in Haifa. Under the name Samaya Gorgona she designs psychedelic punk-fetish clothing; as Knoott she records and performs original songs for acoustic guitar and voice alongside more confrontational punk and rave-derived material. In 2017 she co-founded Motor Gang Films and Theatre with cameraman Nikolay Litvinov, producing micro-budget films and staged live music works in the genres of punk, psychedelic, and sentimentalism through 2023.
