Klaus Röder

Klaus Röder is a German musician working with violin, guitar, and electronics in experimental and improvised music contexts. Active in the German experimental music scene since the 1980s, he has contributed to numerous collaborative projects and has released recordings on specialist labels. His work explores the extended possibilities of his instruments through improvisation and electroacoustic approaches. He has been associated with the Musica Improvvisa and the broader European free improvisation community, participating in an ongoing investigation of the violin and guitar as sources of unconventional sonic material.
