Klara Lewis

Born in 1993 in Sweden, she is the daughter of Wire bassist Graham Lewis and began making music in 2009. Her debut album Ett, released on Editions Mego in 2014, subjects field recordings and organic sound to electronic manipulation, creating intimate and fractured sonic worlds. A second album, Too, followed on the same label, with the 2018 collaboration Care with Simon Fisher Turner also released on Mego. Her 2024 album Thankful, dedicated to the late Editions Mego founder Peter Rehberg, appeared a decade after her debut. She performs audio-visual shows at clubs and galleries and has appeared at Atonal Berlin, Mutek, Sonar Barcelona, and Dark Mofo.
