Killer Bug
The project name of Japanese noise artist Kazumoto Endo, whose work under this alias began in 1994 with self-released cassette demos before appearing on labels including Noise, Releasing Eskimo, Self Abuse Records, and Mother Savage Noise Productions throughout 1995. Working within harsh noise, Endo developed a practice oriented toward rethinking how the genre communicates, generating new perspectives in a field that can quickly calcify. He has been cited by peers as an artist who genuinely shifted the terms of noise music. In December 2024, the Berlin label Total Black issued Beyond The Valley Of The Tapes, a two-CD retrospective compilation of his Killer Bug recordings.
