Ketev

Ketev is the alias of Yair Elazar Glotman, a Berlin-based sound artist and composer working across electroacoustic composition, sound installation, and sculpture. As Ketev, Glotman produces ambient-techno works constructed from reel-to-reel tape loops manipulated through 4-track cassette decks, building slowly shifting rhythmic mantras beneath roaring textural layers. His self-titled debut cassette on Opal Tapes (2014) established the project in experimental and post-techno circles, followed by releases on Where To Now? Records including Singular Stare and Traces of Weakness. Outside of Ketev, Glotman records under his own name on contemporary classical work.
