Keiichiro Shibuya

Keiichiro Shibuya (b. 1973) is a Japanese musician, composer, and media artist known for projects that span electronic music, AI, and performance. His work with Android Opera — operas performed by humanoid androids — has been widely discussed as an investigation of the boundaries between human and machine performance. His electronic music projects, including work with ATAK label, demonstrate technical sophistication and aesthetic ambition. He is one of the most prominent figures in Japanese experimental electronic music and has presented internationally at major technology and music events.
