Kate Carr
Kate Carr is an Australian sound artist and label operator based in London whose practice spans field recording, electronic composition, and curatorial work. She runs Flaming Pines, a label dedicated to field recording and sound art. Her recordings — including It was a morning in summer and I was eating a soft boiled egg (2011) and Winds and Leaves (2012) — treat field recording with lyrical sensitivity.
