Julian Percy

Australian musician and cultural organiser born in 1978 in Melbourne, long based in Berlin as co-founder of NK Projekt — an artist-run non-profit in a former Neukölln chocolate factory dedicated to sound art and experimental music from 2008 until its closure after Berlin funding withdrew. He performs using hand-built instruments, prepared guitars, and analogue electronics across projects including Last Dominion Lost, Matarratas, and his solo project Ratbag. Through NK he helped build one of Berlin's most important grassroots platforms for experimental and underground sound culture.
