Jules Négrier
French composer and sound artist working in electroacoustic and acousmatic music. He holds a master's degree in acousmatic music and sound art from the University of Marne-la-Vallée. His practice centres on spatial audio, live performance, and the sculpting of sound in time. He worked at French national radio on spatial audio projects before joining the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) in Paris in 2018 as a programming assistant. He is currently authoring the Acousmonium Handbook, a manual on multichannel sound diffusion, and his concert works have been performed in France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
