Juan Manuel Cidrán
Spanish electronic composer from Almería, Andalusia, who began his practice in 1976 under the influence of the Berlin School — Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze — and American minimalism. He has independently released sixteen albums on his own label, Extrarradio, with very limited distribution, building a devoted following among enthusiasts of Spanish electronic music. Works such as Tau and Sonido Para Acciones are considered significant in the history of Iberian electronic composition. His 2020 double album SLG3, issued in an edition of three hundred copies, marked his first vinyl release in over a decade.
