Juan Carlos Flores

Juan Carlos Flores is a Mexican sound artist based in Berlin working under the alias Visions of Lizard. A former member of punk and black metal bands, his practice draws on distortion, noise, and industrial rhythm to construct saturated and abrasive sonic environments. He studied at the Institute of Sonology at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, where his album Flesh is Dead was recorded. He founded Void Left, his own label through which he releases his music. His releases include Triptych, Darkshifting, and the EP Tribulation — works that apply industrial and metal-inflected abstraction to questions of systemic collapse and contemporary crisis.
