Jérôme Noetinger
Jérôme Noetinger is a French musician and sound artist whose practice centers on electroacoustic improvisation using reel-to-reel tape machines, electronics, and modular synthesis. A co-founder of the label Metamkine, he has released an extensive body of recordings and has collaborated with leading European and international improvisers. His approach to tape as a live instrument — physically manipulating, rewinding, and overdubbing in real time — creates performances of dynamic unpredictability. He is a central figure in the French experimental music scene.
