Jean-Philippe Gross
Born in 1979, he lives and works in Metz, France, and is a self-taught composer and improviser whose background is in drums. Since 2001 he has worked in the fields of electronics and experimental and improvised music, performing with a dedicated no-input feedback system and developing research with a Serge modular synthesizer. He is the founder of Eich Records and the Fragment ensemble. He has composed for dance and contemporary ensembles including Ensemble Dedalus and collaborated with Marc Baron, Jean-Luc Guionnet, and Jérôme Noetinger, releasing recordings including the duo album Nos Cadavres with Noetinger.
