Istanbul Ghetto Club

Istanbul Ghetto Club is a duo formed by Kamil and Mahmut, two musicians who met when one was playing bağlama and the other walked in looking for directions. Their project stretches between the pavyon taverns of Istanbul and the techno clubs of Berlin, blending traditional Anatolian instruments with modular synthesizers, and layering acid and psychedelic electronics over folk melodies. Known for combining non-linear storytelling and performance art with improvised club compositions, the duo links underground and mainstream, East and West, within a single set. Their live performances have attracted over one million organic views online.
