Hee Ju Im
Hee Ju Im is a South Korean sound and installation artist whose practice works with found objects, motors, and electronic modules to create sound environments grounded in the concept of the abject — drawing on Julia Kristeva's framework to explore the intersection of sound, matter, and technology that operates outside normative function. She has received support from Arts Council Korea and Art Center Nabi in South Korea, and has presented work in international experimental sound and installation contexts since the early 2020s.
