Giada Dalla Bontà

Researcher, curator, and writer based between Berlin and Copenhagen, she holds a PhD in social anthropology from Bern University and is a PhD fellow at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen, affiliated with its Sound Studies Lab. Her research centres on sound art and experimental music in late Soviet underground cultures and contemporary practices across Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Baltics. She has worked with the Venice Biennale, Mondrian Foundation, and Lisson Gallery, and has published extensively on sonic politics and anti-fascist music practices.
