Geseling
Geseling is a harsh noise project from the Netherlands built around scrap metal, contact mics, feedback and field recordings worked live and recorded straight to tape. Rather than chains of noise pedals, its sound favors raw, physical junk percussion and overloaded circuitry. Geseling has shared bills with international noise figures at Amsterdam's OCCII and Resistor, and appeared at the long-running Ende Tymes Festival of Noise and Sonic Liberation. The project is linked to Rotterdam drone/dark ambient act Staalkracht, and has released splits and compilation tracks through DIY noise labels including Vatican Analog and Liquid Pathogen Productions.
