Georg Dietzler

Born in 1958 in Burgbrohl and based in Cologne, he received an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts Münster in 1984 and has since operated at the intersection of sound art, environmental research, and curatorial practice. As a founding member of the Rachel Haferkamp Gallery in Cologne, he has curated audio-visual festivals, intermedia concert series, and media dance programmes with a focus on the Cologne electronic music and sound art scenes. He has participated in ISEA symposia and collaborated with international artists including Collins + Goto Studio on site-specific sound projects.
