Galen Joseph-Hunter

Executive Director of Wave Farm, the international transmission arts organisation based in upstate New York, she has shaped the field since the mid-1990s. From 1996 to 2015 she worked with Electronic Arts Intermix as Assistant Director and Executive Consultant. Her book Transmission Arts: Artists and Airwaves (PAJ Publications, 2011) is a key reference for the field. She has produced radio works for Kunstradio Vienna and curated Sound Arts exhibitions at Columbia University, and runs WGXC 90.7-FM, a community radio station broadcasting from the Hudson Valley.
