Gabber Eleganza

Gabber Eleganza is the project of Italian DJ, producer, and creative director Alberto Guerrini, active since 2011 and one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary resurgence of gabber aesthetics. His practice operates simultaneously as DJ work, music production, and cultural criticism, treating the history of gabber — the extreme high-BPM electronic music that emerged from Rotterdam in the early 1990s and developed significant communities across Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium — as a subject of sustained investigation and reactivation. Based in Berlin, Guerrini connects this history with club culture, queer aesthetics, and the visual language of hardcore and post-rave fashion.
