Frédéric Van de Velde

Brussels-based artist and curator Frédéric Van de Velde co-founded and co-runs Futura Resistenza, a record label operating across Belgium and the Netherlands that works at the intersection of performance, sound, visual art, and experimental music. He was previously involved with WORM in Rotterdam, where he moved from volunteer coordination to floor management and show programming, building a network that spans improvisation, noise, and interdisciplinary sound practices. He is the artistic coordinator of OORtreders Festival, a three-day gathering for art and sound held in the forests of North Limburg, and is part of a duo also featuring artist Nele Möller.
