Flora Yin-Wong

Flora Yin-Wong is a London-born composer, DJ, and writer of Chinese-Malaysian heritage whose practice addresses spirituality, memory, and sonic experience in contemporary life. Her recorded work — including the album Holy Palm (2020) and the EP The Sacrifice (2022) — draws on ambient music, drone, field recording, and electronics to construct meditative compositions engaging with Eastern religious practice, refusing the superficiality of Western appropriations of spiritual traditions. As a DJ, she brings eclectic knowledge to selections spanning experimental electronics, free jazz, and global music. As a writer, she published Liturgy, fragments exploring memory, ritual, and diaspora.
