Fiedel

Berlin DJ and producer Michael Fiedler, known as Fiedel, has been a long-standing resident at Berghain and a defining figure in the city's left-field club music scene. Born in Brandenburg, he co-runs the labels Fiedelone and Fiedeltwo and has released on Ostgut Ton. As one half of the duo MMM alongside Erik Wiegand (Errorsmith), he helped shape a strain of club music that incorporates acid, electro, jungle, and dub alongside 4/4 structures. He was also a co-operator of the Wax Treatment parties with Mark Ernestus of Hard Wax and Basic Channel, a series that forged lasting connections between disparate areas of electronic music.
