Fernando Godoy

Fernando Godoy is a sound artist, producer, and curator from Valparaíso, Chile, working at the intersection of listening, territory, and socio-environmental politics. He co-founded Tsonami Arte Sonoro in 2007, a Valparaíso-based organisation that promotes experimental sound practices, festivals, radio, and site-specific research. His production includes sound installation, performance, radio pieces, and experimental scores that treat the aural as a space of cultural and phenomenological inquiry. One of his performances addressed the collapse of coastal ecosystems in Valparaíso as a direct critique of the economic policies introduced under the Pinochet regime.
