Felix Kubin

Felix Kubin (born Felix Knoth, 1969, Hamburg) is a German composer, radio artist, and electronic musician. Experimenting with synthesizer, organ, voice, and drum machine since the age of twelve, he founded the independent label Gagarin Records in 1998 — specialising in Dada-electronics at the edge of pop and experiment. He has released on Editions Mego, Bureau B, Dekorder, and Minimal Wave, and his radio plays have won the Hörspiel des Jahres (2012) and Deutscher Hörbuchpreis (2014). Large-scale works include Falling Still for string ensemble, boys' choir, and live electronics, and A Choir of Wires for twenty Korg MS-20 synthesizers.
