Felicity Mangan

Australian sound artist Felicity Mangan has been based in Berlin since 2008, where she builds minimal quasi-bioacoustic compositions from field recordings of frogs, insects, and other vocal animals drawn partly from a personal archive of native Australian wildlife. Her releases include Stereo'frog'ic on Longform Editions and Creepy Crawly on Mappa Editions. She frequently performs through hand-made speakers and found objects, mimicking biophonic patterns to produce immersive sound environments. More recent output includes Wet on Wet on Klangklamm/Warm Winters Ltd. and the single Körner Park on Care of Editions.
