Fedde ten Berge

Sound artist and composer Fedde ten Berge (b. 1983) is based near the Dutch coast in Heiloo and works with interactive installation, electronics, and custom-built performance instruments. He designed the Pentacle, a mobile 15.3 surround sound loudspeaker system that has toured extensively across Europe and been used by numerous international artists. His ongoing series Of Nature and Things investigates the vibrational and electrical properties of ceramic materials through sound installation. He formerly served as artistic coordinator at the renowned STEIM in Amsterdam, a key institution in the development of electronic and computer-based arts.
